I have been writing for a little under a decade now. I’ve had ups and downs throughout my years of writing and I thought I’d share some of these with you all.
The most important step to being a writer is to read as much as you can from already published authors. This will help you understand how to write.
Before I started writing I had only one book that I could reference my writing to and that was the Holy Bible (I was writing The Righteous Jardacia after all). After that I continued to write in the same way, and having no other reference points, it wasn’t received well by my readers.
After a few years of writing I was becoming annoyed in my ability to write. I had good ideas and an excellent imagination, it just wasn’t translating to my work. I started reading novels by already published authors. I was interested in gaming, so naturally I found books that span off from some of the games I used to play.
I also used to rush writing and publish before I had even had a chance to proofread and edit. This is probably the most harmful thing I did, because it makes all of your work questionable before the reader has a chance to see it. I still make the mistake of publishing unfinished works to this day, and I still look like an idiot when I do it.
Usually, once I had completed a novel or short story, I’d advertise it. This, however, is a huge mistake if you are paying for it. Advertisements online are hot spots for trolls. What I have done instead of paying to be humiliated by online trolls is to post links to my novel in groups and forums online. This has generated more interest for me.
I made a number of my works available for free on Google Books, Amazon and a few others. This helped introduce my writing to new readers who were more inclined to leave a review. Who doesn’t like free stuff?
Another way I introduced readers to my work was to write about something people were already fans of. Fan Fictions is a great way to do this. My book, Xena: Warrior Princess was a complete success with over 5 thousand readers and a fair amount of 5 star reviews.
Today, I don’t advertise my work, yet it still sells. Once you gain a few fans of your work, it just snowballs into something huge.
Xena: Warrior Princess: The FanFic Collection
Based on the hit television series, Xena: Warrior Princess, created by John Schulian and Robert Tapert, The FanFic Collection contains five original short stories and poems, which explore the past, present, and future of the legendary Warrior Princess.

Former State of California Worker Seeks Thrills After Retirement
Sir Robert Winchell may soon be joining the ranks of Easy Rawlins, Charlotte Justice and Aaron Gunner, some of the most famous fictional African-American murder mystery detectives.
Winchell is a California-born, Harvard-educated, Scotland Yard detective who has been knighted by the Queen of England for his investigative skills. With a dependable reputation for solving crimes, the discrete but ever-observant Winchell has become the go-to man who powerful people call upon when they are in need of a detective.
The gregarious but astute Winchell debuted in A Murder in our Midst where a college friend’s apparent suicide leads him to uncover many secrets in the friend’s family including a motive for his murder. In his next appearance, Death Comes for the President, Winchell unearths that the leader of the free world’s apparent poisoning is connected to a series of unexplained deaths at Washington DC’s prestigious Walter Reed Medical Center.
The mastermind behind the fictional but fascinating Sir Robert Winchell is the loquacious, charming author, William Turner, a former supervisor of workman’s compensation claims with the state of California. Upon retirement, Turner put bureaucratic paperwork behind him and turned his attention to creating Winchell, who he freely admits is his alter ego.
“Nothing had ever come easily for me. I always had to struggle to accomplish what I have,” says the 71-year-old Turner, who lives in Lancaster, California, an hour north of Los Angeles. “Winchell is much the same way. We’re both African-American, both educated, both have well-to-do friends.”
As an African-American man, Turner is conscious of race relations, a theme that recurs throughout the novels. Winchell being African-American sometimes impedes his investigation, despite his impressive credentials.
The two novels have earned Turner glowing reviews, several hardcore mystery readers offering the ultimate compliment, “Wow, I didn’t see that coming.” Consequently, Turner’s dedicated fans are anxious for more. Turner is busy working on two more Winchell mysteries, The Corpses Beneath the Tree, where Winchell stumbles upon a murder while on vacation, and Murder in the Vicarage, about the death of a priest.
Writing has been a passion for Turner ever since his college days at Boston University where he majored in English. When a professor wrote a nasty comment on one of his papers, “It’s amazing the rate of illiteracy here in the United States,” Turner was devastated. However, he consulted friends who advised him to develop more style for his writing. So, he began voraciously reading to observe the style of other writers.
“Little did I realize that I had been influenced by Agatha Christie because those were the books that I read, the sentence variations, the technique she used and all that,” says Turner, who lists Christie as his favorite author.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, but raised in Boston, Turner headed to California after college, tired of the bitterly cold New England winters. He had just $5 and a MasterCard credit card in his pocket when he arrived, but soon got a job as a clerk in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office.
His advice to novice writers is to stick with it. Occasional self-doubt is inevitable, but don’t let that discourage you in the long run. Just keep honing your craft.
“The conversations you have, the everyday encounters, those are things that trigger the imagination and get it started,” says Turner who has one son and three grandchildren. “The mind, the more you think about it, it fills in the other portions and you take it there. I never commence writing until the story has fully developed because that way you will preclude writers block.”
His first two books, “A Murder In Our Midst” and “Death Comes For The President” are available on Amazon
1) I signed up through email. They told me that a representative would contact me in a few days. After a few days I received an email. The email gave me a clue as to what the founding principles of the organisation represented. I was instantly confronted with adverts to buy their books and a silver pendent chain.
2) I followed them on social media. As far as I knew, the Illuminati were a secret society, yet here they were, asking me to follow their very public pages on Facebook, Twitter and so on. I must also mention that their pages are filled with adverts to their merchandise.
3) The real illuminati disbanded many years ago. I did further research after seeing them extorting money from gullible people. It appears that the illuminati were a real group of influential people, but they were disbanded by a European Monarch in the 18th century.
4) When I began Calling them out on social media they ceased all communication with me. I have been the leading member of The Faith Of Solara since 2009 and I have never asked those I seek to help for money. I found the Illuminati to be a dangerous and exploitative group of people whose sole purpose is to take riches from an already impoverished people. The promise they give people is that somehow, wearing their merchandise and reading their books will magically make them rich and powerful. The irony being that this group will leave you poor and possibly homeless.
My message to you. If people pertain to have your best interests at heart, they will never ask for money in return for their help. Please do not feed the purses of these unscrupulous people any longer. Spread this message to anyone currently involved with this group.

Tell us about your latest release. How did you come up with the title?
Recovering Memories refers to knowing so many past incarnations. Together they make an incredible great context, each lifetime gets its own special significance within the big picture. And I think this knowledge should be shared with the widest audience. The discoveries are not only my own, it’s not my privilege to own them. So I feel.
What do you hope readers are able to get from reading your story?
I use my past incarnation episodes as a sort of ‘case study’, to look at what reincarnation is, and how it works. We all have our own karmic issues and even if they are rather unique there are several common traits. The laws of the universe are the same for all of us. And I believe that we can learn a lot from each-other.
From your book I’d like to bring up the Lisabeta episode, it is one of the past lives you could recollect. As to your husband H, are you sorry about the way you behaved? You was cheating him, and treated him very coldly, no?
Yes. I felt ashamed, I think that comes out from between the lines. I am sorry about it. Our marriage was a very unfortunate one. The disaster was predictable at its very start. Simply, we weren’t a match.
About Nicholaus, who was your childhood friend and later your lover and partner, what you feel about him now?
I still feel a lot of love about him. I don’t think this will ever change. There is an interesting thing about him. His nation choice – he was my father at Wingless Angels, and he very disliked Germans. Then, some centuries later he was born to a militarist German family… The turns of life… The turns of karma… By my observation this kind of thing happens quite often.
It’s very touching to see that loved ones meet again and again, and they may feel the same, no matter how much time went by.
Absolutely. Time is not so important from the soul’s perspective.
Could you achieve some improvement? By meditation or other way?
Very good question. Yes, I did! I managed to turn the memories connected to him positive in the latest months. To achieve this I had to travel to Germany – and there I’ve heard something that helped me to heal it. It was a talk from a man named Gunagriha. He is a disciple of Sri Chimnoy who was a famous guru. So, he said that instead of mourning what was ruined and what went dead, we shall be happy that we were given time to be together, happy that we got moments to share. This caught me. I instantly knew: this will be it, this is the word I was looking for so long. Suddenly as I thought at Nic I was able to feel differently, I saw this relationship in a whole new light. I am able to feel thankful for the days when we could be together, when we could give and accept love to and from the other – no matter how the relationship ended. This is just wonderful! Since this Eureka moment I feel much better.
How his memory influences your private life?
It’s not easy to live with it. Anytime I had a relationship, or a possibility of it, I always felt that this is just not it… But I learned to shift it aside.
You keep making comparisons?
Sometimes, yes. I do my best to ignore this feeling, because I don’t want to be the victim of our common past. And as long as he can’t remember anything, I can’t do much. It takes two to solve this.
What would you say if you met him?
Hello, long time no see… Well, I don’t know. It depends how we meet again. It would depend on how much he knows. Also it would depend on the place, on the day, on the weather, on the actual magnetic field of the Earth, pff, and dozens of other things. I can’t tell, really. Hopefully it’d go well.
What happened before this Lisabeta episode?
I had a short life in England, in the nineteenth century. I lived in a rather miserable environment and I died after I gave birth to a girl. I was no more than 18-19.
Where in England? In London?
I don’t know, it was a big city. Maybe Birmingham or London, I can’t tell.
You know, this symbol looks close to Radiohead’s sign. At least this was my first impression! I really like them. It looks very like it. Weren’t you inspired by that?
No. Actually I’ve sent them some poems many years before, including this sign. It was back in the middle of the nineties, around 1997. They were drawn on small postcards, I decorated them with this sign.
Wow, they might have used it, then! What did you think when you saw theirs? You certainly noticed the resemblance!
Of course. From my part, it’s fine if they used it, and it’s fine if they didn’t. It’s okay. I use this ancient sign as a signature long ago because it sums up my goal of writing, presenting anything. In case they had been inspired by it, that’s great. We are in this world to inspire each-other.
Would you tell me more about the Byzantine prince? In the book you did not go into detail, you only mentioned him on the margin.
Exactly. I don’t think it is wise to go into details just now, and it may not be too important. Before presenting it I want to see how people receive posthumous memoirs in general. Also, it might not even be safe to publish it. I’ll see. Firstly I’d like to sell the movie script, more like.
Any other thing you’d like to mention?
Yes. We plan to bring together a Meetup event in December. It will take place in Brighton, and hopefully in London.
Annamaria used to be a normal girl until a recurring dream almost drove her insane. Every night, she dreamed about her lost brother who was living in another city and whom she or her family never met. One day, when things seemed to be on the verge of getting out of control, she decided to seek help with a psychotherapist through a regressive hypnosis session.
Her life changed forever. During the session, not only did Anna found out she actually had a brother, who was later tracked down by her family, but with the door of her subconscious mind and her present reality being left open by the therapist, she just kept going deeper and deeper, finding out more and more about her past lives. A prince, a slave, a father, a son, a prostitute, a soldier, a mother, and many more: Anna lived them all in her past lives.
Having this gift and curse at the same time almost killed her until she decided to put them on paper. That’s when her health and her life changed for the better. Writing actually started to give her life a meaning, she was determined to show her discoveries to the world.
“From a burden, they became my treasure. Suddenly, I had much more life experience, and by curing the revealed old wounds I started to feel better” - she says. In her book, she attempts to analyse the phenomena of reincarnation, presenting two important episodes that she could recall
I am a writer and screenwriter. I was born in Hungary and from 1997-2001 I studied library and informatics, which included political science and philosophy as well. I graduated with an MA degree. I have been writing novels and singing in several languages (Hungarian, English, French, German) since childhood. I compose essays, historical novels, tales and poems. I also have some experience in graphic and design.
